GINGERLINE GARDENS

To celebrate the centennial of the mysterious disappearance of our (fictional) Sir Lionel Stirling Grey, Gingerline hosted a benefactor jubilee gala dinner in the restored remains of his secret garden. As an explorer, scientist and flavourologist, Sir Lionel Sterling Grey had created and collected some of the more curious flavourlogical delights from around the world.  From Blue-Footed Honey Bees that produce milk, to Madagascan Flatulent Lily Pads that make an oddly guttural sound when you step on them, and Carnivorous Venetian Goliath Moths that created a

beautiful butterfly house out of their very own silk.Guests could sit in this Victorian conservatory for dinner or choose from a tree house, giant swan seats, a topiary garden with rose pergolas, or a gypsy tent, all punctuated by flowering covered walkway, pigeon coup bar, wishing well, guided audio tours, honey tasting workshops, inappropriate moth catching, duck walking and so on and so on, not to mention all the lovely food and drink...For the full video click here.
